François THÉRIN : an experienced leader
Francois Thérin is a senior leader with over 30 years of international academic experience. He has lived and worked in six countries across five continents.
He has previously held several senior strategic leadership roles, notably as Director of the Institute of Management Technology, Dubai (IMT Dubai) in the United Arab Emirates, Dean of EMLV – École de Management Léonard de Vinci in France, and Dean of the Curtin University Business School in Sarawak, Malaysia.

A member of the Royal Society of Arts, Dr Thérin holds a Doctorate in Business Administration jointly awarded by Newcastle University and Grenoble Ecole de Management, with a specialisation in learning and innovation within technology-based SMEs.
An author and editor of several books on techno-entrepreneurship, he is widely recognised for his expertise in strategic management, technological innovation and the internationalisation of higher education institutions. He regularly contributes to academic journals and international conferences around the world.
