As the global business landscape undergoes an unprecedented period of transformation, ICN Business School is celebrating two decades of excellence through its Executive MBA (EMBA). With the arrival of our 21st cohort last October, we reaffirm our mission: to develop leaders who can turn tomorrow’s challenges into sustainable opportunities.

20 Years of the Executive MBA: Experience Driving Innovation

Twenty years is often seen as the age of maturity. For our EMBA, however, it is above all a testament to agility. Since its launch, the programme has continually evolved to transform experienced professionals into true CreaCtive Leaders. This concept, now a hallmark of ICN Business School, defines a new generation of leaders who combine strategic rigour, transdisciplinary thinking and creative boldness.

More than just a qualification, the Executive MBA is a transformative personal and professional experience. Here, expertise is only the starting point; the ultimate goal is to leave with a renewed perspective. We encourage every participant to rethink their approach to leadership, empowering them to become visionary leaders capable of creating economic, human and societal value within their organisations and beyond.

Cohort 21: A Laboratory of Diversity

Our 21st cohort perfectly reflects our ambition to bring together participants who represent the economic fabric of the Greater Region while maintaining a strong international outlook.

  • A cohort of outstanding professionals: Our 27 participants, with an average age of 40, are experienced professionals from a wide range of sectors, including finance, healthcare and technology.
  • A rich interdisciplinary environment: We bring together CEOs, Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) and professionals from the healthcare sector to create a learning environment where diverse perspectives complement one another.
  • A commitment to gender diversity: With women representing 33% of the cohort, we continue to strengthen our efforts to support greater female representation in senior leadership positions.
  • A cross-border perspective: Most of our participants come from the Greater Region, including professionals from Luxembourg and Belgium, creating a truly borderless learning ecosystem.

Heading to Berlin: An Immediate Immersion in the Heart of Innovation

The international dimension is a cornerstone of our educational approach. For participants in our 21st cohort, their journey will soon extend beyond Nancy to Germany, as they prepare to embark on their first international study trip.

Their destination? Berlin, a true European hub of innovation and ICN’s 3th campus pillar. This study trip will give them the opportunity to take a closer look at a unique entrepreneurial ecosystem, explore diverse business models and strengthen their mindset as open-minded, curious leaders before the next stages of their international journey in the United States and Asia.

New EMBA Challenges: AI and Digital Transformation

Alongside its global outlook, the Executive MBA places digital transformation at the heart of the programme. Participants learn how to harness the power of data and artificial intelligence to support strategic decision-making. Delivered over 18 months, the programme is designed to be both demanding and inspiring, combining academic rigour with personal development.

Building Cohesion from Day One

The tone was set from the very beginning with a unique team-building boot camp held at Air Base 133, organised with the support of our alumna Julie Beck. This defining experience fostered a strong sense of unity, symbolised by the adoption of a mascot representing the values of kindness, mutual support and collaboration that define this cohort.

This journey of excellence culminates in a Grand Oral, where each participant presents the outcome of their personal and leadership development as an engaged and responsible leader.
