ICN Business School’s International BBA is a four-year post-baccalauréat programme leading to a Bachelor in Business Administration (Bac+4), with a strong international dimension.
Its design draws on the Anglo-Saxon BBA model and aims to develop professionals capable of operating in a globalised context, building competencies in international business and management.
The International BBA is delivered across our Paris La Défense and Berlin campuses, with teaching in both English and French, progressing towards a fully English-language programme.
The degree is accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and offers an international academic and professional experience through semesters abroad, international internships, a professionally-oriented dimension with the option of an apprenticeship in Year 4, and exchanges with partner universities.
I chose the IBBA because of its stronger international focus, particularly in Year 3 with the academic experiences abroad. English has always been my favourite subject, and I love learning languages to travel, so this programme was an obvious choice for me. Upon joining, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there are only 8 of us in the class, which makes it much easier to exchange ideas, get to know one another, and allows lecturers to spend more time with each student.

International Experience at the Heart of the Programme
One of the programme’s defining strengths is its openness to the world: from the very first year, students may follow courses in English on the Berlin campus. At Paris La Défense, the curriculum is bilingual during the first and second years.
We designed the International BBA with international experience at the core of the journey. You may take part in academic exchanges at our partner universities, complete internships abroad, and in Year 3, pursue an international double degree.
The programme stands out for its considerable flexibility, with the option of spending two semesters at two different universities or in two different countries, or choosing an extended immersion at a single institution as part of a double degree.
Year 4 strengthens professional development with an extended internship — compulsorily international — or an apprenticeship, to consolidate your experience. These experiences develop strong intercultural, strategic and linguistic competencies, whilst maximising employability on an international job market.

Why choose ICN’s International BBA
ICN Business School is a triple-accredited institution recognised for its creative pedagogy and academic quality. Its International BBA (Bac+4) sits within the school’s broader higher education offering and is aligned with international standards.
The programme is offered at the Paris La Défense campus (bilingual French-English format) and at the Berlin campus (taught entirely in English), providing genuine linguistic and cultural immersion.
It also distinguishes itself through its flexibility: you have the option of moving between campuses during your studies, in addition to the academic experiences undertaken at our international partner universities.
Programme Structure and Content
Content across the four years of study
The programme spans four structured years of study, designed to guide you progressively in building solid management competencies and developing your professional project.
During the first year, you lay the essential foundations by acquiring the fundamentals of management. This stage also allows you to develop your knowledge of geopolitics and international economics, whilst beginning to structure your thinking around your professional project.
In the second year, you consolidate these skills and begin to put them into practice through a first significant international experience. You undertake an internship abroad of a minimum of three months, representing your first immersion in an international professional environment.
The third year is entirely focused on the international dimension, with a period spent at a partner university abroad. Depending on your project, you may opt for a double degree or follow a “2 universities, 2 countries” pathway, allowing you to diversify your academic and cultural experiences.
Finally, the fourth year is dedicated to your employability. You may choose a work-study format, either as an internship or apprenticeship, in France or internationally, whilst following advanced courses in English. This final stage aims to strengthen your competencies and facilitate your entry into the professional world in an international context.
The specialisations Throughout the programme, students develop competencies in finance, management and international business. In the fourth year, they choose one specialisation from the four on offer:
International Luxury Management
International Corporate Finance
International Business Development
Business & Data Management
Languages as an international passport Courses are delivered in French and English, with a progression towards a bilingual or fully English-language programme depending on the campus chosen. This linguistic approach develops the international communication skills essential for a career that transcends borders.
Teaching in English prepares you to work in and with international companies, where English is today the standard language of business. You learn to present a project, negotiate, persuade and collaborate in English within a real professional context.
The result: by the end of your studies at ICN, you do not merely “speak” English — you are capable of performing in an international environment. A genuine asset for accessing career opportunities abroad.
