ICN has developed strong links with numerous European universities, enabling students to spend part of their studies in countries such as Germany, Sweden or other Erasmus+ programme countries.

Studying in English at an international business school
Through our partnerships, students have the opportunity to study at international institutions and take courses in English, enriching both their academic experience and language skills.
If you are not yet comfortable with English but still wish to study at a partner university where courses are taught in English, you can prepare by following ICN programmes taught in English.
This is also possible upon your return, so that you can maintain your progress and continue improving. Whether it is the IBBA, the Bachelor in Management, the Grande École Programme or some MSc programmes, our courses are available through the English Track.
Time spent abroad
ICN enables you to spend up to:
- 16 months abroad over 3 years for the Bachelor in Management
- 18 months abroad over 3 years for the Master in Management
- 27 months abroad over 4 years for the International BBA
- 6 months abroad over 2 years for MSc programmes
Supporting students abroad
Preparing for departure
Before departure, students receive support from ICN’s International Relations Office, which assists with administrative, cultural and logistical preparations aspects of their mobility.
In most cases, tuition fees at the partner institution are covered by the exchange. Any exceptions are always specified in advance.
Students are only responsible for their living and accommodation costs, as they would be during their studies in France.
Visa, accommodation and administrative procedures
Support includes guidance on student visas, accommodation abroad, health insurance and enrolment procedures at the host university.
Academic follow-up and feedback
During and after the mobility period, ICN provides academic and cultural follow-up to ensure that you receive high-quality teaching and are well prepared for your return to ICN Business School.
The aim is to allow you to resume your studies without feeling that you have missed any essential teaching during your time abroad.
Which programmes allow students to go abroad?
Many ICN programmes, from the Bachelor in Management to the International BBA, as well as the Grande École Programme and MSc programmes, include international mobility options, double degrees or internships abroad as part of the curriculum.

In many ICN pathways, an international experience is required to validate the degree: this is known as the international requirement.
There are exceptions depending on specialisations and study paths. For example, apprenticeships do not necessarily require a period abroad.

The duration of a stay abroad can range from a few months to a full academic year, depending on the type of mobility (exchange, double degree or internship). Within the IBBA, students may spend nearly two years abroad.

Programmes such as Erasmus+ offer grants and financial support for study periods and internships abroad, helping to reduce mobility-related costs.
There are generally no additional fees when studying at a partner university, except in very rare cases. The cost of the exchange is usually included in your tuition fees at ICN Business School.
Living costs abroad remain the responsibility of the student.
