Innovation and business model design

The programme enables students to master the mechanisms of creating and transforming business models in constantly evolving environments. They learn to analyse existing models, identify innovation opportunities and design differentiated value propositions, integrating technological, economic and societal dimensions.

Particular attention is given to emerging models linked to ecological transition and new market dynamics, in order to train professionals capable of innovating responsibly and sustainably.

Entrepreneurship and start-up creation

The MSc places strong emphasis on learning by doing through the development of real entrepreneurial projects. Students are supported at every stage of start-up creation: from ideation and project structuring to market launch.

The programme covers key topics such as opportunity validation, business plan development, fundraising and growth management. The objective is to train entrepreneurs capable of leading innovative projects, particularly in greentech and impact-driven sectors.

Tools, methodologies and experimentation

Students develop operational mastery of user-centred innovation methodologies such as design thinking and lean start-up. They learn to rapidly prototype, test hypotheses and iterate solutions based on market feedback.

The programme also integrates project management, collaboration and innovation management tools, fostering an agile and experimental approach. This combination of methods and tools enables students to effectively structure their projects and accelerate the transition from idea to execution.

Internships and employability

Internships and immersion in the entrepreneurial ecosystem

Students benefit from immersion in the start-up ecosystem, particularly through international experiences. These internships enable the development of practical skills in business creation, innovation and project development.

Thanks to our Careers and Internships Service and its network of 150 partner companies, you receive support in securing internships and even your first job after graduation.

Networking events and meetings with entrepreneurs further enrich this hands-on experience.

Admissions and procedures

Entry requirements

Admissions to specialised MSc programmes are open to international applicants holding a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Selection is based on application review, English proficiency, and, depending on the campus, possibly French.

Application process and timeline

Employability and career opportunities

Career opportunities include roles such as Business Developer, Entrepreneur, Innovation Consultant or Innovation Project Manager. ICN MSc programmes aim for rapid entry into dynamic and international environments, with an employment rate of 81% within six months of graduation and an average salary of €44,500 gross per year.
