Student Projects

Taking part in student projects means actively contributing to campus life while developing practical skills. By getting involved, you strengthen your professional development, autonomy, and creativity, all while working on meaningful or passion-driven initiatives.

Create your own projects at ICN

Traditionally structured around fixed student societies passed down from one cohort to another, ICN Business School is now evolving its model to better reflect personalised student journeys. Today, the focus is on a more flexible and tailored approach: student societies are gradually giving way to student-led projects.

This evolution reflects a core belief at ICN Business School: everyone should be able to shape an experience that reflects who they are—because you are unique. By developing your own project, you have the opportunity to engage with causes, ideas, or ambitions that matter to you, while leaving a tangible mark on your time at the school.

Integrated into the curriculum, these projects provide a real-life learning environment: organising events, managing budgets, handling communication, seeking partnerships… all of which allow you to apply academic knowledge in practical situations. In doing so, you develop key skills in management, marketing, and strategy, while strengthening your autonomy, creativity, and entrepreneurial mindset.

This new model does not replace the pillars of student life: student unions for student life, arts, and sports remain central structures, offering a framework for collective engagement and contributing to campus life.

From your very first days at ICN Business School, you are encouraged to imagine, build, and lead an initiative that truly reflects you.

High-impact student projects

The Vertiges Mode fashion show

Last year, several students took on an ambitious challenge: organising a fashion show alongside their studies. The project was a success and took place at the Octroi venue in Nancy.

The event generated strong enthusiasm, notably with the participation of Miss Lorraine, who also took part in the show alongside the students.

Music, cocktails, and original creations shaped this event dedicated to fashion and creativity. The project enabled participating students to develop a wide range of skills: project management, coordination, communication, logistics, and artistic direction.

A hands-on and rewarding experience that perfectly illustrates the value of student projects at ICN, combining learning with personal achievement.

Student offices and professional associations

Despite the development of student-led projects, ICN Business School still maintains key organisations:

Student offices

  • Student Union (BDE): organises social, cultural, and community events on campus
  • Sports Office (BDS): promotes sports activities and organises competitions throughout the year
  • Arts Office (BDA): encourages artistic expression and supports students in developing their creative potential

Professional associations

  • ICN Junior Conseil: gives students hands-on professional experience through real consulting projects for companies
  • Bachelor Promotion: promotes the school and the Bachelor in Management programme at fairs and on social media
