The BScAB runs over 3 years, full-time, taught entirely in English. Each year follows a consistent progression: laying the groundwork (Year 1), connecting knowledge across disciplines and switching campus — Paris or Berlin — partway through the year (Year 2), then putting it all into practice through an extended professional experience and a final thesis (Year 3).

The programme operates on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), recognised across most higher education systems worldwide — a genuine advantage for continuing your studies outside France.

What career prospects does the BScAB offer international students?

A network that reaches beyond France

Joining the BScAB also means joining the ICN network: 24,000 alumni present across many countries, working in finance, marketing, management and business development — an asset for building a career beyond the French market alone.

Can I work in France after completing the BScAB?

Yes. Subject to conditions linked to nationality and qualification level, international BScAB graduates may be eligible for a temporary residence permit (sometimes referred to as a “stay-back visa”) allowing them to remain in France after graduation to look for a job or start a business. Once a professional opportunity is secured, this permit can then be converted into a standard work visa.

Can I continue my studies outside France after the BScAB?

How do you apply to the BScAB as an international student?

International applicants submit their file directly via ICN’s dedicated international platform, without going through Parcoursup:

• transcripts from the last two years of study
• secondary school diploma (or local equivalent)
• proof of English proficiency (MOI, TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent)
• video statements of motivation.

40 places are available each year through international recruitment.

What academic level is required to join the BScAB?

For entry into Year 1, the BScAB is open to holders of a secondary school qualification equivalent to the French baccalauréat: a High School Degree, the IB / IBCP (International Baccalaureate), or A Levels.

Am I a French citizen living abroad — which pathway should I follow?

Can I prepare in advance through ICN’s Foundation Programme?

Yes. International candidates looking to strengthen their academic and language preparation before joining the BScAB can join ICN’s Foundation Programme, available from February — a useful option for those available ahead of the September intake who want to arrive better prepared. A dedicated pathway then allows direct progression into the BScAB.

Do I need a student visa to join the BScAB?

Yes. As the BScAB runs across two campuses in two countries, the necessary procedures apply to both: a visa or residence permit for France, if you choose the Paris La Défense campus, and an equivalent authorisation for Germany, if you choose the Berlin campus.

Can I choose my campus (Paris or Berlin)?

Yes, at admission. This initial choice has limited long-term impact: 100% of students experience both campuses during the programme, regardless of where they start.

How much does the BScAB cost?

Tuition fees are €14,800 per year, or approximately €44,400 for the full 3-year programme.

An enrolment deposit for international students

Admitted international students must pay an enrolment deposit, the amount of which depends on whether a visa is required:

• €800 for international EU students, who are not subject to visa procedures.
• €3800 for international non-EU students, who are subject to visa procedures.

This amount is then deducted from the total tuition fees.

What budget should you plan for living in Paris or Berlin?

In Paris, plan for a realistic monthly budget of around €800 to €1,200, depending on your accommodation choice and lifestyle:

• Accomodation ((the largest expense, typically half to three-quarters of your budget) — CROUS room or studio: €330–750; shared flat: €650–950; private studio: €800–1,100 or more depending on the district. Housing assistance (APL) from the CAF can help reduce this cost.
• Food — €150–250 for groceries and home cooking, or €1–3.30 per meal at a university restaurant (CROUS).
• Transport — around €33–38 per month with the Navigo Imagine R pass (under 26s).
• Other expenses — phone and internet (€20–40), home and health insurance (€10–30), leisure and going out (€50–150).

In Berlin, plan for a realistic monthly budget of around €900 to €1,200, depending on your accommodation choice and lifestyle:

• Accomodation — between €500 and €700 for a room in a shared flat (WG – Wohngemeinschaft) or student residence.
• Food — between €280 and €340, combining university canteens (Mensa) and discount supermarkets.
• Transport — €63 per month with the Deutschlandticket, valid across all regional and local public transport in Germany.
• Other expenses — €100–200 (going out, phone, study materials).
