ICN Business School’s International BBA is a four-year post-A-level programme leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a strong international focus.
The programme is modelled on the Anglo-Saxon BBA model and aims to train professionals capable of thriving in a globalised environment by developing skills in international business and management.
The International BBA is delivered at our campus in Paris La Défense and offers teaching in both English and French, with a progression towards an exclusively English-language programme.
The degree is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and offers an international academic and professional experience through semesters abroad, international placements, a work-oriented component with the option of an apprenticeship in the fourth year, and exchanges with partner universities.
I chose the IBBA because it has a stronger international focus, particularly in the third year with the study abroad opportunities. My favourite subject has always been English; I love learning other languages so I can travel, so this programme was an obvious choice for me. When I joined the programme, I was pleasantly surprised to find there are only eight of us in the class, which makes it easier for us to interact with one another, get to know each other, and for the teachers to spend more time with each student.

An international experience at the heart of the programme
One of the key features of our programme is its global outlook. In Paris, the curriculum is bilingual during the first and second years.
We have designed the International BBA to place the international experience at the heart of the programme. You can take part in academic exchanges at our partner universities, undertake internships abroad and, in the third year, work towards an international double degree.
The programme stands out for its high degree of flexibility: you can spend two semesters at two different universities or in two different countries, or opt for a long-term immersion at a single institution as part of a double degree.
The fourth year enhances professional development with a long-term placement – which must be international – or an apprenticeship, to consolidate your experience. These experiences develop strong intercultural, strategic and language skills, whilst maximising employability in an international job market.

Why choose ICN’s International BBA
ICN Business School is a triple-accredited institution recognised for its creative teaching methods and academic quality. Its four-year International BBA is an integral part of the school’s higher education programme and is aligned with international standards.
The programme is offered at the Paris La Défense campus (bilingual French-English format) providing a genuine linguistic and cultural immersion.
Course structure and programme content
Content of the four-year programme
The programme spans four years of structured study, designed to guide you step by step in acquiring solid management skills and developing your career path.
In the first year, you lay the essential foundations by learning the basics of management. This stage also allows you to develop your knowledge of geopolitics and international economics, whilst beginning to think systematically about your career plans.
In the second year, you consolidate these skills and begin to put them into practice through your first significant international experience. You will undertake an internship abroad lasting at least three months, which provides your first immersion in an international professional environment.
The third year is entirely focused on international studies, with a placement at a partner university abroad. Depending on your plans, you have the option of pursuing a double degree or following a ‘2 universities, 2 countries’ pathway, allowing you to diversify your academic and cultural experiences.
Finally, the fourth year is dedicated to your employability. You may choose a work-study rhythm, in the form of an internship or an apprenticeship, in France or abroad, while attending advanced courses taught in English. This final stage aims to strengthen your skills and facilitate your professional integration in an international context.
Specialisations
Throughout the programme, our students develop skills in finance, management, business administration and international trade. In the fourth year, they choose one of the four specialisations we offer:
International Luxury Management
International Corporate Finance
International Business Development
Business & Data Management
Languages as an international passport
Courses are delivered in both French and English, with a progression towards a bilingual or fully English-taught programme. This linguistic approach develops essential international communication skills for a career that goes beyond borders.
Teaching in English prepares you to work in and with international companies, where English is now the reference language. You will learn how to present a project, negotiate, persuade and collaborate in English within a real professional environment.
As a result, by the end of your studies at ICN, you will not simply “speak” English — you will be able to perform in an international environment. A strong asset for accessing career opportunities abroad.
