Biography

Régis Martineau, PhD. in Management , Habilité à Diriger des Recherches, is Professor at the ICN Business School, within the Finance, Audit, Accounting and Control department. Since his doctorate, defended in 2009 at the University of Tours and relating to quality management in the hospital sector, his research has focused on managerial instrumentations use and appropriation, a theme on which he defended an HDR in February 2019 at the University of Poitiers, and published in 2023 a book called Anatomie des Outils de Gestion. He is interested in this topic from a transdisciplinary perspective which led him to take an interest in different types of management tools in different contexts: tools in clusters, HR tools in SMEs, tools for quality in hospitals, or green accounting tools in French companies. This led him to publish in academic journals classified in different managerial disciplines, in strategy, in organizational theory, in accounting, in public management or in information systems. He also develops, as a teacher and as a researcher, innovative forms of pedagogy: to date, he has developed and practiced the pedagogy of the Ignorant Master (described and detailed in an article in the Revue Française de Gestion ); and is currently certified Lego (c) SeriousPlay (c) facilitator.
