Biography
Olivier Berthod is an associate professor in the Human Resources and Organizational Behavior Department. He is also a member of the CEREFIGE research laboratory at the University of Lorraine, and an adjunct professor of management and organization at the Constructor University Bremen, Germany. He holds Masters degrees in management from the Universities of Paris Dauphine and Linné in Växjö, Sweden, and received his Ph.D. from the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. His research focuses on ways to improve organizational reliability and institutional decision-making in businesses, public sector and nonprofit organizations. His work has been the subject of awards (Best Paper in public management by the German Academic Association of Business Research in 2017, Best Paper of the EGOS Colloquium in 2016) and has appeared in leading outlets such as the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Journal of Management Inquiry, Public Management Review, Public Administration, and Organizational Research Methods.
