Biography

Marie-France Clerc-Girard is an associate professor at ICN Business School. Its activity within the school is mainly focused, in addition to teaching in strategy and entrepreneurship, on innovative and transdisciplinary pedagogical developments. Head of the Arts & Technology Department, she leads the reflection and development of new educational initiatives with schools from other disciplinary fields and on the French sites of ICN. Support, tutoring student projects within the framework of an ICN Entrepreneurs association, an ARTEM workshop "Living Consulting and Innovation" are also part of the mission, as well as those related to the social and solidarity economy. Experienced in launching and coordinating an "Innovation & Entrepreneurship" Chair (partners: Groupama, Cegid, Wolters Kluwer, Accenture, Ordre Supérieur des Experts comptables) has particularly enriched the approach and methodology related to the launch of innovative projects. In parallel with this work, her research themes are the study of new ways of entrepreneurship at the micro level (more specifically in the context of the social and solidarity economy) and at the scale of a territory (the possible dynamics of cooperation between the ESS and private companies), that is why she is also: – National Referent to the CNAM (National Conservatory of Arts & Crafts) in business strategy and project management. For the past 5 years, she has been developing interactive creativity seminars, business dips for 1st and 2nd year students and in partnership with large companies (the La Poste Group, Batigère, the Carsat, KPMG). The main objective is to discover the power of the cross-cutting of skills and to work "off the beaten track". Interdisciplinarity is seen in her department as friction of disciplines but also as indiscipline in the sense that they train students capable of swimming against the current. This approach allows innovative training work to be contracted with companies in the territory and in Luxembourg – Active member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Industrial and Social Cooperation for Development Territorial, alongside representatives of the IUMM, MEDEF, State, Regional Council, General Council, ICC, national integration networks and in charge of territorial foresight. Her past experiences as an associate executive of a company specializing in management support, business and territory development on the marketing, strategic, financial and communication aspects, (complex project management and sensitive, defining the strategic positioning of a territory, the company, marketing strategy, support for creation, takeover of companies, search for financing and various partnerships) allow her to enrich the approach theoretical.
