Healthcare Management: En J’Eux, the New Programme Developed by ICN Business School and the Lorraine Virtual Hospital
ICN Business School and the Lorraine Virtual Hospital (HVL) are launching En J’Eux, a new programme designed for healthcare professionals in leadership and management roles, including ward managers, department heads, physicians and administrative leaders working in both public and private healthcare organisations. Its objective is to strengthen participants' management and leadership skills, equipping them to meet the current and future challenges facing the healthcare sector.
ICN Business School and the Hôpital Virtuel de Lorraine (HVL) are launching « En J’eux », a new programme designed for healthcare professionals in leadership roles, including nurse managers, department heads, physicians and administrative managers working in both public and private healthcare organisations.
The objective: To strengthen participants’ leadership and management skills, equipping them to meet the current and future challenges facing the healthcare sector.
An Immersive and Innovative Learning Approach for Healthcare Professionals
Based on an immersive and interactive learning approach, En J’Eux uses simulation-based learning, a method recommended by the French National Authority for Health (HAS). Participants are immersed in realistic and complex management scenarios, enabling them to experiment, reflect on their decisions and adapt their practices in real time. This approach encourages active learning and supports the immediate application of new behaviours in professional situations.
A Comprehensive Programme for Practical, Actionable Skills
The 100-hour programme, delivered over 11 days, combines taught sessions, masterclasses, individual coaching, site visits and simulation workshops. Participants will explore a range of key topics, including:
- Intergenerational and inclusive leadership
- The development of behavioural and interpersonal skills
- Performance management using management tools and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- The integration of digital tools and social media into team management
- Challenging established practices and fostering collective intelligenc
Peer co-development workshops (CODEV) and learning expeditions will further enrich this unique learning experience, giving participants the opportunity to exchange ideas with their peers and discover innovative practices both within the healthcare sector and beyond.
A Partnership Driving Excellence and Innovation
This programme builds on the long-standing collaboration between ICN Business School, the Faculty of Medicine, Midwifery and Health Professions at the University of Lorraine, and the Nancy University Hospital (CHRU).
