Biography
Renato GUIMARAES is Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management of ICN Business School of Nancy, France. He also teaches Information Systems and Production management. Prof. Guimaraes gained à Bsc. in Engineering at the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and a Msc. of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). He got his Ph.D in Information Systems from the Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine (France). He has a second affiliation with the Laboratory of Industrial Engineering and Production of Metz, focusing his research on improving the performance of supply chains. His recent publications deal with problems of combinatorial optimization present in industrial processes.
