Biography

Associate Professor at ICN Business School. Member of CEREFIGE, priority research axis “Creativity and sustainability”, SORH group,.
Co-head of the UNESCO chair "Art and science for implementing sustainable development goals", Sept 2020-March 2023.
Scientific coordinator for the UNESCO chair "Art and science for implementing sustainable development goals"
Co-steering member of the working group "Arts Culture Sustainability" for the CGE (Conférence des Grandes Ecoles).

With a double background in visual arts and organization sciences, I apply my transdisciplinary experience at integrating arts and artistic thinking into scientific and rational approaches for aiming at a change in mindset in the perspective of sustainable transformations of economy and society.

My doctoral thesis (2014), entitled "Reversal: The sharing of speech as a sensitive, aesthetic and political experience", validates a double doctorate in Organization Sciences (Utrecht University for Humanistics) and in Arts (Paris 1 La Sorbonne).
For more than 15 years, I have been developing a theoretical and practical activity on creative processes in art and companies. My research and practice interests are art and management, fair entrepreneurship, artistic methods for research and management, and innovative art-based pedagogy.
Trained as a telecommunications engineer (1980), I developed an artistic career in applied arts (illustration, 1984-2003), and in contemporary art (installations and participatory performances, 1991-now). My collective artistic practices outside of the art market led me to research on artistic processes and interventions in organizations (art-based consultant and trainer, 2002-now), which led me to write my thesis based on my interventions in business (20010-2014).
Founder and manager of the artistic companies Accès Local (1998) and GRORE IMAGES (1993), I am a member of several international research and teaching networks (EGOS; AACORN / Arts Aesthetics Creativity & Organisation Research Network; MOST (Marchés, Organisations, Société et Technologies, Paris Dauphine), RGCS (Research group on collaborative spaces). In addition to being a researcher, teacher and artist-practitioner, I am a consultant in management of collective intelligence, innovative management and management by creation processes, after seven years (2003-2010) of experience in marketing and brand identity consulting. I am also a trainer for public managers and innovative and responsible public management.
I also serve as President of the artistic association LaBF15, a contemporary art center (Lyon), since June 2023.
