Biography
Klaus-Peter Schulz serves as Associate Dean for Faculty and Research and as Full Professor of Strategy and Sustainable Innovation at ICN Business School. His responsibilities include faculty management on the three ICN campuses, research management, ensuring of academic quality and digital learning services. In addition, he is also a member of the executive board of the joint research laboratory CEREFIGE at University of Lorraine. His research is related to transdisciplinary strategies, methodologies and implementation of sustainable innovation capabilities. His main research focus is on methods and processes of change, innovation and development, particularly on playful and hands-on intervention methods in any type of organizations and sectors. He published several books and articles in this field.
Before being employed at ICN he worked as a research group leader at Chemnitz University of Technology in Chemnitz Germany. There he was in charge of EU based research programs in the field of innovation capabilities in SME. Before he worked at the same institution as lecturer in the field of innovation management. Prior to his university career, he was Programme Manager for innovation and organizational development at a Swiss based pharmaceutical company. Klaus-Peter Schulz received his habilitation “venia legendi” / HDR in the field of innovation studies, and his doctoral degree from Chemnitz University of Technology in the field of organizational behavior (title: Learning Activity in Organizations). He holds a master’s degree in engineering and management from Brunel University (West London) and an engineering degree (Dipl-Ing.) from Konstanz University of Applied Science, Germany
