HONIGSBERG Sarah
Dr. Sarah Hönigsberg holds a doctorate in Information Systems from the Chemnitz University of Technology. Before her position at ICN Business School as an assistant professor for digital transformation, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Sarah Hönigsberg mainly teaches Information System Management, Digital Transformation & Data Security, and Big Data & Business Analytics. Her research focuses on digital transformation triggered by digital platforms, data analytics, and artificial intelligence, digital transformation in small organizations and business networks, as well as the crossroads of digital transformation and sustainability. She is an active member of the Association of Information Systems (AIS), where she served as President, Past President, and Director-at-Large of the “AIS Doctoral Student College.” For her dedication to Ph.D. students in the Information Systems field, she received the AIS Doctoral Student Service Award 2021 and the AIS Doctoral Student College awards for leadership (2021) and volunteer work (2020). In 2018, she received the University Award for the Faculty of Economics for her Master’s thesis at the Chemnitz University of Technology.
