HONIGSBERG SARAH
Dr. Sarah Hönigsberg is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems & Digital Transformation at ICN Business School, France, holding a Ph.D. from Chemnitz University of Technology. Before joining ICN, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
Her research focuses on digital responsibility and digital transformation, generative AI, digital platforms, data analytics, and their impact on future workplaces, higher education, and small firms. She is particularly interested in digital transformation triggered by platforms and AI, as well as the intersection of digital innovation and sustainability.
Sarah mainly teaches Information Systems Management, Digital Transformation & Data Security, and Big Data & Business Analytics. Her work has been published in numerous international journals and conferences.
An active member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), she currently serves as:
- Director-at-Large for the AIS Doctoral Student College
- Secretary of AIS SIG AI
- Communications Chair of AIS SIG Services
- Managing Editor for Submissions at the Journal of the Association for Information Systems
For her dedication to Ph.D. students in the Information Systems field, she received the AIS Doctoral Student Service Award (2021) and the AIS Doctoral Student College Awards for Leadership (2021) and Volunteer Work (2020). In 2018, she was awarded the University Award for the Faculty of Economics for her Master’s thesis at Chemnitz University of Technology.
