Biography

Aurélien Quignon is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Finance Department at ICN Business School, where he has been a faculty member since 2023. His research lies at the intersection of innovation economics, entrepreneurship, and applied microeconomics, with a particular focus on knowledge externalities, university-industry collaborations, and the role of public policy in supporting innovative activity.

He holds a PhD in Economics from Paris Nanterre University and has held postdoctoral research positions at the University of Luxembourg and Paris Nanterre University. His work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Research Policy, Small Business Economics, The Journal of Technology Transfer, and The Journal of Industry, Competition and Trade.

Before joining academia, Aurélien Quignon worked as an economist at the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry and then as Associate Director of R&D at Wirate. He is a researcher affiliated with the University of Lorraine-CEREFIGE.
