Out of a global population of almost 8 billion people, a quarter speak English.

This reality means that our students must master English in order to open the door to numerous career opportunities, both in France and internationally.

It is the primary language in a wide range of fields, such as aviation, IT, diplomacy and science.

Along with English, French is the only language spoken on all five continents.

France has an extensive network of cultural institutions around the world and wields significant influence in fields such as fashion, gastronomy, the arts, architecture and literature.

French is also one of the two official languages of the UN, UNESCO, NATO, the IOC and numerous international organisations: if you are considering a career in these institutions, proficiency in French is essential.

Did you know that Spanish is the second most widely spoken native language in the world after Mandarin?

As the official language of 20 countries, with a growing influence in North America, it opens up a wealth of opportunities in international markets. Mastering the language also gives you access to a rich culture through films, TV series and literature.

A global leader in industry, Germany offers numerous career opportunities. Speaking German allows you to join a dynamic and prestigious sector, or to explore the booming start-up ecosystem, particularly in Berlin.

As the world’s largest country, spanning 11 time zones, Russia plays a key role in geopolitics. Mastering Russian opens up international career opportunities in strategic fields.

Considered a demanding language, it allows you to stand out in the job market and showcase your ability to tackle challenges, whilst gaining access to a rich and iconic literary tradition.

Over 1.5 billion people speak Mandarin, and the vast majority do not speak English. Learning this language opens up numerous professional and personal opportunities, particularly as Mandarin is increasingly establishing itself as the language of innovation, especially in the digital sphere.

A prerequisite for obtaining your qualification

Students at ICN Business School must sit one of two official English language exams to obtain their degree.

Taking a language proficiency exam will allow you to highlight your language skills on your CV and demonstrate what you have learnt during your studies.
