Biographie
Brahim Gaies est Associate Professor en Économie et Finance à l’ICN Business School, Paris.
Auparavant, il a enseigné dans plusieurs universités et écoles de commerce en France et à l’étranger. Il a dispensé de nombreux modules en microéconomie et macroéconomie, statistiques, économétrie, ainsi qu’en finance d’entreprise et finance des marchés.
Ses intérêts de recherche portent sur la globalisation et l’économie du développement, l’instabilité financière et les crises. Ses travaux reposent principalement sur des méthodes quantitatives et privilégient des approches interdisciplinaires (économie, finance, macro-entrepreneuriat, histoire de la pensée économique).
Brahim Gaies est titulaire d’un doctorat en sciences économiques de l’Université Paris Nanterre, obtenu en 2018. En juin 2024, il a soutenu son habilitation à diriger des recherches (HDR) à l’Université de Lille, et il a été qualifié en 2025 aux fonctions de Professeur des Universités en sciences économiques par le Conseil National des Universités.
