The Executive PhD in Management & Creative Transformation is an ICN Business School doctoral programme designed for experienced professionals who want to develop research-informed thought leadership while remaining anchored in practice.
The programme builds on ICN’s distinctive ATM signature (Art, Technology and Management) and supports candidates in investigating complex business, organisational and transformation-related phenomena. Who is the Executive PhD designed for?

The Executive PhD is designed for experienced professionals, managers, consultants, entrepreneurs, educators and organisational leaders who wish to undertake doctoral-level research while continuing their professional careers.
Applicants are expected to hold a Master’s degree, MBA or equivalent qualification from a recognised academic institution and to have at least five years of relevant management, professional, entrepreneurial, educational or equivalent experience.
What is the programme format and expected workload?

The Executive PhD is delivered primarily online and designed for experienced professionals with full-time careers. Candidates follow structured online seminars, work individually on their research and participate in annual residential learning formats. The expected workload is approximately 10–12 hours per week.
