In the Top 1% of Business Schools in the world accredited AMBA + EQUIS + AACSB, ICN Business School also obtains AMBA accreditation for its Grande Ecole Programme

In May, ICN Business School obtained AACSB accreditation and thus became the 14th French business school to hold the triple crown out of 38 French schools after preparatory classes, 98th out of 15,000 establishments worldwide.

The AACSB Board, who held a meeting last 28th April via videoconference given the ongoing health crisis in the United States, decided to grant the prestigious American accreditation AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) to ICN for a 5-year period.

«This third accreditation recognises the school’s strategic vision outlined in its Ambition 2022 plan and its differentiating characteristics—innovation, social responsibility, and creativity. The peer review team commended the school for its strengths; the Artem Alliance and the Art, Technology and Management teaching approach at the centre of its mission: supporting students in their personal and professional development; the excellence of the relationships with companies, in particular in the banking, retail and consulting fields; and the strength of the Alumni network to highlight the school’s strategy» stated Florence LEGROS, general director of ICN Business School.

Less than a month later, ICN Business School’s Grande Ecole Programme obtained the prestigious British AMBA accreditation. The school’s Executive MBA has already had this accreditation since July 2012. Issued by the Association of MBAs, this is the oldest and highest distinction in the world, certifying the quality of MBA (Master of Business Administration) programmes.

The AMBA accreditation attests to the respect of international academic standards required for such training. More than 260 Business Schools in more than 75 countries around the world are recognized for this international quality label, including 22 in France.

The main evaluation criteria of the Association of MBAs are based on the strategy and identity of the school, the quality of the teaching staff, research, recruitment of participants, the objectives and content of the programme, the quality of the teaching and evaluation method and the professional performance of the graduates.

“This new accreditation confirms ICN Business School’s leading international position and the excellence of its training. This new audit highlights the strengths of the Grande Ecole Programme, in particular: its resolutely distinctive “Wake Up, Experience, Jump” approach, the quality of student recruitment, its multi-campus positioning and the dynamism and commitment of the entire ICN community,” comments Florence LEGROS, Dean of ICN Business School.
