Last night, the French President announced the closure of schools, colleges, high schools and universities as of next Monday. At the same time, the Berlin Senate also called for the suspension of classes yesterday.
As a result, classes on campus – Nancy, Paris and Berlin – for all degree programmes – will be suspended as of Monday 16 March and moved to online delivery until further notice. On the Nuremberg campus, face-to-face instruction will be maintained and taught by faculty already on location. Faculty and staff will continue to provide academic support and administrative services in each location.
1- For full time students attending classes
All teaching and learning materials will be uploaded on myICN and accessible by Monday March 23rd at the latest for the remaining of the academic semester. End of semester examinations and assessments will be conducted remotely: information will be provided by faculty for each class via the Student Office (Scolarité)
2- For students on internships or in the apprenticeship track
Students currently undertaking internships or in the company based apprenticeship track should comply with their host company policies and guidelines.
3- For students about to leave for an international internship
All international travel is suspended and students should cancel their travel arrangements immediately. Further information will be forthcoming in a separate communication outlining alternatives to validate the international internship credits.
We will do our best to ensure that you suffer as little as possible from this situation and precautionary measures. In these difficult times, we have to reconcile solidarity and continuity of activities.
I thank you in advance for your commitment and understanding.
